The 26th Annual Downtown Crawfish Jam Music Festival (DCJ) presented in part by Southern Beverage, is set for April 26, 2025 at Walthall Park. DCJ is one of several fun neighborhood events hosted by the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood throughout the year and serves as their largest fundraiser for the Walthall Foundation.
Walthall Park located in the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood (HHNA) in Downtown Hattiesburg. This, pay-one-price music festival features an exciting mix of musical acts, in addition to all-you-can-eat: crawfish, burger, hot dogs, sausage dogs, Coke products and cold beer!
Music is set to start at 11 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. The Downtown Crawfish Jam (DCJ) also offers, boiled corn and potatoes, hot dogs, sausage dogs and hamburgers, soft drinks and beer, and a family friendly atmosphere. Walthall Park (located at 600 Walnut Street at the intersection with Rebecca Avenue.
Tickets will go on sale on line beginning February 15 and tickets will be available at the following locations starting March 3rd T - Bones Records - 2101 Hardy Street, Midtown; Twin Forks Wine and Provisions- Downtown; and Signs First - 4400 Hardy Street, West Hattiesburg. Tickets prices are- Adult Ticket $50 (includes admission plus all-you-can-eat and drink) - Junior Ticket $40 (under 21) - Kids 12 and under free.
Visitors should be aware that there will be limited parking on the streets in the neighborhood. Walnut Street will be closed off between Hall Avenue and Rebecca Avenue and Rebecca Ave will be closed between Walnut St and Court St.
Proceeds from this year's Festival will be used for the renovations and repairs of the Historic Walthall Community Center Building. The Walthall Foundation in partnership with HHNA, provides support for projects and events in the Downtown Hattiesburg area. Some of these projects include Historic Preservation Projects and upkeep of the Walthall property as well as, events like the Victorian Candlelit Christmas.
